Welcome to the new Official Website of the Surrey Lions, the team for the Surrey Field Hockey Club. We are based at Surrey, The City of Parks, in the Beautiful British Columbia. The sole objective of the club is to promote the game of Field Hockey, not only in our little corner of the world, but rather, throughout North America, and to be able to project our Beautiful City as the Field Hockey Capital of North America. Already, due to the huge and unprecedented success of our Annual Surrey Cup International Tournaments, we have achieved a respectable recognition for Surrey all over North America. As a result of this growth in the popularity of this tournament, the City of Surrey has also gratefully obliged in making Surrey the only city in North America to have two side-by-side water based field hockey turfs, which is a rarity. In future, we plan to take this further, and host bigger and better Field Hockey events at the venue, which is also our Home Turf. We urge you to come and meet us at any of our practice meets, and talk to us about how, we together, can do more for the game !
