We are often asked by individuals as to how they can support the Surrey lions ? Well, thankfully, there is no one answer to that, rather there are many different ways in which to support us in our projects !
Well, here's a few,--
1. The biggest way to support us is by enrolling your kids in our Juniors' Programmes ! We are always eager to expand more on our Junior teams, as well, it is a great oppurtunity for parents as well , as this is a great way for the kids to learn a new sport while venting their raw energy in a disciplined way !
2. You can also support us by lending a helping hand in our various cummunity events, for example, the Club plays an active role in the Annual Surrey Vaisakhi Procession and caters to tens of thousands of people !
3. By being present at our matches and practice sessions and cheering us on, encouraging us to play better, you will be playing an important role for the Surrey Field Hockey Club !
4. Another big way to support the Surrey Lions is by Volunteering at our Annual Surrey Cup International Tournament, which is held on the last weekend of July every year. It is a Mega Event in its own, and has brought Surrey into the limelight in the world of Field Hockey. All volunteers not only get to see the whole tournament from the front while being a part of the whole project, they also get to keep really cool Surrey Lions' volunteer t-shirts along with Volunteering Certificates !
