The ideal time to register yourself for volunteering with the Surrey Lions is in May/June. This also the time when we are at the peak of our preparations for our Annual Surrey Cup International Field Hockey Tournament. Though the Tournament itself is held every year on the last weekend of July, preparations for it start much earlier. As it is a mega event in itself with tens of thousands of people attending the tournament over a period of only three days, with free food and no tickets on the card for everyone, including the spectators, and with the teams coming to Surrey from different parts of the world, there are many different volunteering oppurtunities that you can try for during the tournament.
We urge you to contact us and register with us to volunteer. Based on three factors,- Your interested position, Your qualification to fulfill that position, and The availability of the position you are interested in, we will try to provide you with the best possible volunteering experience possible ! All of our volunteers get not only a Surrey Lions' volunteer t-shirt, but a Volunteering Certificate as well !
As we get closer to our 5th Annual Tournament, we shall be posting a list of the various volunteering positions available and the number of voluteers required, so keep ckecking back frequently on this page !
